Prime Consultancy is appointed to identify a Sales and Marketing Manager for one of our international clients. The company is a global active engineering company with over 20.000 employees worldwide with one of its business units focusing on hydro power plant equipment (turbines).

Responsibilities

o Market analyzing and identification of potential customers
o Setting up initial contacts with potential customers
o Understanding of the clients’ needs – position, prospect and investment pattern
o Conduct presentations for potential clients in order to further engage on the project
o Cooperate with the regional marketing manager to develop a sales and marketing strategy
o Coordination for preparation of proposals – pre-bid clarifications, marketing information, seeking offers from local suppliers
o Handling pre-negotiation discussions
o Compile marketing documents, presentations, proposals
o Manage the marketing department
o Support the marketing team to identify local suppliers and contractors
o Sales of new projects and aftersales
o Interact with consultants and government agencies to early track upcoming projects
o Translating of documents from English to Bahasa Indonesia or vice versa
o Coordination of project management activities
o Coordination and fulfilment of Statutory Compliance Activities
o Report to the Management about the progress

Job requirements

o Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, management or construction
o 10-20 years of experience in power generation projects (Hydro, Thermal, Combined Cycle) or large industrial projects
o An extended network with PLN, IP, PJB and IPP developers
o Knowledge of local laws, regulations applicable for Foreign Construction Representative Office
o Proven business development skills
o Hands on experience of project sales and negotiation of contracts
o Basic knowledge of finance and processing of finance related information
o Good interpersonal skills
o Proven leadership skills
o Highly motivated individual
o strong analytical skill
o Good communication skills

Core competencies

o In depth knowledge of Hydro Power Market, EPC Companies and Developers
o Specialized knowledge of development and processing of contracts
o Ability to act with limited supervision
