Ditelepon Langsung Jokowi, Gepokan Duit dari Tesla Inc Tinggal Tunggu Waktu?

Thepresidentpost.id - Jakarta - Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) didampingi Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan melakukan pembicaraan melalui telepon bersama CEO Tesla Elon Musk pada Jumat (11/12/2020) kemarin.
Dalam keterangan Kemenkomarves, Jokowi dan Luhut melakukan pembicaraan melalui telepon bersama Elon Musk pada Jumat kemarin. Pembahasannya mengenai peluang investasi perusahaan mobil listrik Tesla.
"Pembicaraan ini membahas mengenai peluang investasi perusahaan mobil listrik Tesla di Indonesia," bunyi keterangan tersebut, dikutip Sabtu (12/12/2020).
Jokowi dan Elon Musk bertukar informasi mengenai industri mobil listrik dan komponen utama baterai listrik hingga kebijakan bahan baku pendukung industri mobil listrik.
Bahan baku seperti nikel, kobalt, tembaga, aluminium atau bauksit akan diproses secara lokal dan mengubahnya menjadi produk bernilai tambah seperti Baterai EV, konektor dan lain - lain.
Selain itu, Jokowi juga mengajak Tesla untuk menjadikan Indonesia sebagai tempat landasan alias launching pad roket Space X.
"Presiden RI Joko Widodo juga mengajak Tesla untuk melihat Indonesia sebagai launching pad Space X," dikutip dari keterangan tertulis tersebut.
CEO Tesla Elon Musk menanggapi undangan Jokowi dengan rencana mengirimkan timnya ke Indonesia pada bulan Januari untuk menjajaki semua peluang kerja sama tersebut.
